Abstract |
In its Insights report, “The Role For Bioenergy in Decarbonising the UK Energy System: Findings from the ETI Bioenergy Programme”, the ETI reviews its 10 year bioenergy programme and recommends an increase in biomass production and the creation of the right environment to advance bioenergy with carbon capture and storage (BECCS) as a core component in a push to a low and net zero carbon UK. This Insights report is available for download from the ETI’s website.
This workbook prevents the full set of ESME results charts for the five scenarios examined in the main report:- Base Case
- Reduced Biomass and biofuel feedstock availability
- No CCS
- No biomass gasification
- No biomass gasification + no CSS
There are two worksheets for each scenario- Core Charts - a single worksheet with key charts from each scenario, with aggregated categories for easier interpretation
- N. (Scenario) - Detail - All charts produced for the scenario, including a more detailed category breakdown
All scenarios were run using version 4.3 of ESME |
