It will develop the wind energy technology of the future, the necessary testing facilities, streamlined manufacturing processes, and maintain Europe’s global technology leadership To achieve this vision, the EWI focuses on four main technology areas: new turbines and components; offshore technology; grid integration; resource assessment and spatial planning
