| Abstract | To provide estimates of greenhouse gas emissions by sources and removals by sinks associated with land use, land use change, forestry (LULUCF) in the United Kingdom and Devolved Administrations. The project will: 1. ensure that the UK can meet its annual inventory reporting requirements on emissions by sources and removals by sinks associated with LULUCF 2. project UK emissions by sources and removals by sinks associated with LULUCF 3. ensure that the UK's inventory in theseareas is significantly defensible, meets international reporting requirements, including IPCC guidelines and any Good Practice Guidance agreed by the UNFCCC COP, and uses the full range of available relevant information including experiences gained in preparing the current inventory, information from Devolved Administrations and other research including other research sponsored by the Government. | |
